AI credits

The monthly budget that AI features draw on, and how to ask for more.

AI features are metered with credits, so that AI usage has a predictable ceiling. Credits are counted per user, per calendar month and reset at the start of each month.

Your balance is on your Profile page, under AI Credits. A Low balance marker appears when you get close to the end.

What spends credits

• The AI assistant chat.
• AI suggestions.
• Disclosure summaries.

How much a single action costs depends on how much text the model had to read and write, so a short question costs far less than drafting a long disclosure from several documents.

What does not spend credits

• Writing, editing and completing data points by hand.
• Uploading and attaching files.
• Indexing a file for AI search, and the AI-suggested description on a file.

Running out

When the monthly budget is spent, AI buttons across the application are disabled with the tooltip "No credits remaining. Request more credits in your profile." Everything else keeps working normally. Running out of credits never blocks manual reporting work.

Asking for more

Request Credits on your profile sends a request to support with your name, organisation and current balance.
