Import and export

Moving data in and out with Excel, and producing iXBRL for VSME.

Import and export is reached from the report's own navigation, at Import / Export. What is offered depends on the standard the report follows.

Exporting an ESRS report

Export Excel report: the report data as a spreadsheet.
Export Excel report + attachments (ZIP): the same spreadsheet plus every attached file, as one archive.

The Excel export is also a valid import file, so exporting, editing offline and importing back is a supported round trip.

Import is only available while the report is Active.

Get the template
Download the template from the import panel, or use a previous export of the same report as your starting point.
Fill it in
Work in the spreadsheet as usual. Do not change the identifier columns; they are how the import knows which data point each row belongs to.
Upload it
Choose Import Excel file and pick your file. On success you get a confirmation. If some rows could not be read, a table lists them with the row number, disclosure and paragraph, so you can fix those rows and import again.

VSME reports export to the machine-readable format the standard expects:

Export iXBRL file: the tagged report on its own.
Export all data + iXBRL (ZIP): the iXBRL file together with the report data and attachments.

Excel import is not offered for VSME reports.
